Publisher's Synopsis
The full, ancient text: Historia Brittonum.Historia Brittonum (or The History of the Britons) is a supposed history of the British people. It is estimated to be written around 828 and is usually attributed to Nennius.
It is notable for mentioning Arthur prominently as a military leader (not a king) who fought and won twelve epic battles with the Saxons. The text also goes into detail on other military leaders before Arthur, such as Vortigern. Ambrosius is also mentioned, though as a separate figure from Arthur.
