Excerpt from Hesiods Gedichte in Ihrer Ursprunglichen Fassung und Sprachform Wiederhergestellt: Mit Einem Anhange Uber die Versabzahlung in den Homerischen Epen
Eine dritte stelle wt. V. 646 662, welche von einem musischen siege des dichters bei den leichenspielen zu ehren des Amphidamas in Chalkis handelt, ist, wie die alten bereits einsahen, eine grobe falschung; auch das prooimion zur Theogonie, wonach Hesiod v. 23 f. Von den Musen die dichter weihe empfing, als er am Helikon schafe weidete, stammt nicht von dem dichter der Theogonie selbst, kommt also hier nicht in betracht.
