Throughout the course of my life, I have always enjoyed meeting those extraordinary people who know their path with absolute conviction, you know the one right? They're like a beam of light, every cell and fibre of their being seems to ooze this awesome energy. Just being in their presence feels like an honour and to feel and experience their Mana gives you a glimpse of hope in your own life that maybe one day this will be you. Instead, you might feel deflated and walk away feeling depressed or incomplete and like something is missing in your own life. In the NZ Maori culture the definition of Mana: prestige, authority, control, power, influence, status, spiritual power, charisma - mana is a supernatural force in a person, place or object. The All Blacks do a Haka with so much Mana before they go out on field and take on the opposition. In a nutshell, extraordinary people who are truly remarkable are what I refer to as a HERO. They have nailed it in life, in fact they seem to have found the perfect balance across all areas of their life. Hero in the household, HERO amongst friends, HERO at work, they are killing it with their awesomeness. So which one in life are you? The person who gets inspired to snap into action or the person who walks away deflated. I believe that there's a HERO in all of us, and sadly most of us don't tap into what it takes to go through a life that flows with ease and grace. Instead, we accept the mediocre and at a certain point we just shut down and therefore tell ourselves stories which block us from the HERO we can be and are supposed to be.
