When last we saw Jack, he had stumbled into the hidden lair of a super hero from the 1950s who had vanished. Upon trying to sell some of the items from the lair, the old villains returned for payback, forcing Jack to become the new Hero By Night to save his friends. In this volume we collect issues 1-4 or the ongoing series which feature Jack's battle against Saul Simian who has returned looking for the Hero's ring.
