Meet Jill. Forced to freezer dive for Nate's dream of the largest turkey on the planet, Jill is ready to call it quits on her marriage. The man with the gorgeous blue eyes is no longer the man she married.
When her husband lands in the hospital after trying to get the hot bird out of the oven, Jill becomes downsized at work. Her wealthy friend, Jaynie writes a silly advice column in the local newspaper and when she's desperate to go skiing in Aspen, she turns it over to Jill, temporarily. From a distance Jaynie works to keep Jill under her control however, when she breaks her leg in a skiing accident, Jill adds her own spin to the column, and it takes off in popularity.
While Nate is laid up, he starts reading the piles of Hello Jaynie letters. He begins to show real insight into women and their struggles. She begins to think of him in a different light. She gets the entire family together to sort through letters and it bonds them in a way she never imagined possible.
