Starting out new with her daughter, Bella, in the big rambling, Victorian house, is a God send to Britney, who has been hiding from her x-husband under the woman's protection plan. Now she changes her name to Crain, to make it even harder for her x-husband to find her. Only when Beatrice's grandson ends up showing up, claiming the house was supposed to be left to him, and threatens to contest the will, Britney decides to stand her ground as she and Clarkston lock horns over the ownership of the house.
