Heart Scars is a book of poetry straight from my heart. It's about someone on the other side of addiction. It comes from the soul of someone who's parents were deep in addiction and who also married an addict. I have poured my heart into these poems about addiction, lies, adultery, heartache, and love. My hope is that they help someone to realize they are not alone in their darkness and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Your trauma does not define you.
