Publisher's Synopsis
By stealing the jewels from the temple of the goddess of luck and death, Draven seeks to prove himself to his rivals. As fortune would have it, he escapes with only his life, and a magical gauntlet that bonds to his arm. Hunted by an entire city, haunted by the spirit of the ancient knight imbued within the relic, and unable to remove the artifact, Draven finds his history of poor choices catches up to him. He reluctantly finds himself in a war between the gods.
On one side a brutal warlord, bent on resurrecting an empire and pledged to the god of conquest, raises an army of fanatics. Opposing him are a handful of champions, struggling to answer the urgent call to serve their impatient gods.
But luck is fickle. When a cursed artifact enters the picture, the odds tip towards total destruction. Even the champions and their powerful relics may not be enough to save the world.
