Brittni Jacobs, a widowed mother, has struggles of her own as she raises her son, Nick, as a single parent. Having lost her husband, she is now over-protective of her son and lives with worry as a close companion. When her son suffers an injury and has to undergo surgery, Nick's doctor makes a very strange request that requires Brittni to step out of her comfort zone. Just as a relationship begins to bug and blossom between the two, an accident threatens to kill all progress...until an unexpected piece of paper changes everything. In the end and through it all, Trevor, Brittni and Nick learn that, truly, He (God) hath made everything beautiful in His timing. Ecclesiastes 3:11
