This design is based on Harry Clarke's Mountainous Landscape. Harry Clarke was an Irish representative of the Arts & Crafts movement in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His illustration for Edgar Allan Poe's 'Landor's Cottage' in Tales of Mystery and Imagination (1923) brings to life the author's final piece of prose, in which he describes in detail the landscape encountered during a walk in the mountains.
