The current global conflicts, terrorism, humanitarian missions, peace keeping efforts and the change of workforce demographics have drastically changed the conditions in which the U.S military operates. As a result, a mindset exists based on flexibility and ability to operate in conditions of uncertainty are paramount. Although there is now a renewed focus on the readiness of the TOTAL FORCE, the military has experienced a significant increase in suicide, sexual assaults, and mental health conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
