Publisher's Synopsis
Shin Sun-mi has created paintings brimming with humour wrapped around her favourite subjects, hanbok (traditional clothing) and women. A world shared with fantastical playmates seen only with a child's eyes becomes invisible as those eyes turn to the noise and distractions of the world of adults. The child becomes a woman and a mother's joy is mingled with concern: how long can the child's world of imagination and companionship sustain his attention before he too turns his gaze away?
