Publisher's Synopsis
This is the thirty-eighth bilingual haiku collection originally written by this author, and is dedicated to the Princeton bald eagles. Since the publication of the first haiku collection for bald eagles in 2019, many things-including dramatic and tragic events-have happened to the pair and their eaglets. This collection fills the gap, updating it.
Given the pair's estimated age of 25, going on 26 in 2024, this haiku anthology was written in order to have a comprehensive and as accurate a record as possible of the pair, for future birders in general and bald eagle enthusiasts in particular.
This haiku collection introduces 91 original haikus for four seasons, plus 'new year' that counts as a small season in the Japanese calendar.
