When country music singer, Courtney Austin, is arrested for speeding and driving under the influence, Judge Blackburn gives her a choice between 6 months in the county jail or community service at Hollister House. Courtney, for reasons unknown to anyone, cautiously chooses community service at Hollister House. Arresting Officer Nate McLean is convinced he has witnessed a miscarriage of justice. Nate is determined it will never happen again, not on his watch anyway.Discovering Nate is a volunteer at Hollister House adds to Courtney's anxiety, since Nate is determined to convince all the counselors that she isn't who she appears to be. Doubtful she has what it takes to change his mind. Courtney vainly attempts to prove him wrong. But not before she, Officer Nate and a foster baby named Charlie are kidnapped by a crazed counselor! Six months in a county jail might have been a better alternative after all!
