Publisher's Synopsis
Gulliver's Travels By Jonathan Swift Gulliver sets sail in this satire on human nature. The adventurous surgeon-turned-sea captain explores the most remote parts of the world, including the island country of Lilliput where he towers over his tiny hosts. Swift's book, first published in 1726, was a parody of the popular travel literature genre. It is his best-known work and a classic of English literature which has never been out of print.
