Prologue and Crow

Deep in the North Woods, there are the Guardians. These men of the Amara Clan are assigned to the Northern Territories. They protect humanity and bring justice to the Corrupted.

A young woman is found alone and unconscious in the woods. When one of the men of the Amara Clan finds her; he brings her back to Amara Manor. Remembering only her name, she is ordered to choose one of the seven men that reside at the manor to attend her until her memory returners.

• Crow - Eldest of the Amara Clan. Second to Lord Amaranthine and Commander of the clan. Weapons Master. Cuts down the unjust without hesitation. Straightforward, strict, and forceful. Age - 34. Height - 6'2". Weight - 214 lbs. Eyes - heterochromatic, left eye, deep sky blue, right eye, emerald green. Hair - very straight, layered to shoulder-length, black. Preferred weapons - iron claws.
• Harbinger - Advisor to Crow. Master of blades. Brings death to those deserving of it. Quick-tempered and stubborn. Age - 28. Height - 6'4". Weight - 226 lbs. Eyes - gunmetal grey. Hair - long, dark red, the color of dark blood. Preferred weapons - dual short swords.
• Ethereal - Healer. Talented in medicine and healing herbs. Sees things as they really are. Kind, but also firm. Age - 26. Height - 6'1". Weight - 185 lbs. Eyes - pure onyx, including the sclera. Hair - straight, long, silvery-white. Skin - very fair. Preferred weapons - poisoned needles.
• Lumine - Charlatan. Mischievous, yet deadly. Quick-witted, has a perverted mind. Age - 23. Height - 5'10". Weight - 160 lbs. Eyes - bright blue. Hair - short, blonde. Preferred weapons - double-edged dagger, bow and arrows.
• Shadow - Mastery of stealth. Moves through the dark and melts in from the shadows. Quiet and elusive. Age - 23. Height - 5'9". Weight - 157 lbs. Eyes - dark stormy blue. Hair - straight, long, black. Preferred weapons - six-inch bowie knife and throwing knives.
• Gemini - Strategist. Evaluates a situation before reacting. Calm, collective, but holds a dark secret. Age - 25. Height - 6'8". Weight - 253 lbs. Eyes - deep forest green. Hair - medium-length, tawny brown. Preferred weapon - whatever is available.
• Lynx - Youngest of the Amara Clan. Student of all melee weapons. Shy and reclusive. Age - 20. Height - 6'4". Weight - 178 lbs. Eyes - pale grey. Hair - shoulder-length, flaxen. Preferred weapons - dual hatchets.

This book follows a basic storyline. Every man has his own story. Depending on which man you read will determine how the story will go from the starting point to the conclusion. By reading the prologue, you will get a feel for what has happened. You will also meet the men of the Amara Clan. Then, choose one of the men to start your journey. Follow all the twists and turns as each man leads Kierra down the same path; but a different path at the same time. The epilogue will bring all the stories to the final conclusion.
