Publisher's Synopsis
In 2013 the "Academic Society for the Entire Regulatory Law" was founded in Berlin by professors in economic law. The focus of this conference concentrated on basic questions of natural monopolies and the legal tools leading to their competitive opening. Furthermore, the following topics were analysed: the conceptual aim, access to the net, control of net usage charges, abuse of market power in the various fields of regulatory law, This included comparative perspectives finding out similarities as well as differences. Finally, structural questions like e.g. the assignment to private or public law were discussed. In sum, the conference conveyed valuable insights into the workings of regulatory law. Volume 1 of the new series contains the presentations given.
