Publisher's Synopsis

Most vultures, or corbeaux as they are known in Trinidad, build their nests on the ground as they have no natural enemies, but Grommit's parents chose to build their nest in the protective roots of a banyan tree halfway up Lady Chancellor Hill. The fledgling Grommit grew up with his brothers and sisters in an increasingly crowded and noisy nest.
