Publisher's Synopsis
Hansel and Gretel are very poor woodcutter children. The woodcutter's wife, the children's stepmother, was afraid of hunger and convinced him to take the children to the forest and let them remain at their destination. Hansel and Gretel heard his evil plan, they collected white pebbles and left a path towards the house, but they got lost in the forest.
