Publisher's Synopsis
Poppy and Teela find themselves stranded on a ship in the far reaches of the universe after an unknown disaster knocks them off course. Teela is practical and radioes for assistance, confident that their employers will send someone to their rescue. But Poppy, a thinker, worries that no one is coming and discovers that their message for assistance was never sent. When they finally receive an audio transmission from a Search and Rescue vessel, they realize they cannot communicate back and must venture outside the ship to inspect the transmission mast. Despite their dangerous trek, they are unable to find a solution and their relationship begins to crumble.
