Greater Baldwinsville features more than 200 historic images, including views of tobacco farming, Barge Canal lock construction, boatbuilding, bobsledding, suffragettes, gas wells, an Underground Railroad station, and architectural works by Horatio Nelson White, Archimedes Russell, Ward Wellington Ward, and Charles Erastus Colton. Photographs showcase the first U.S. church to be electrified, the home of the Whig party, and Morris Machine Works, the company whose global renown resulted from a local inventor's discovery. Rural scenes include area hamlets of Plainville, Memphis, Warners, Lysander, Lamson, and Jack's Reef.
