YouWriteOn.com began in January 2006, funded by the Arts Council as the first peer review site of its kind where members review and rate fellow writers' novel openings and short stories to highlight the best new writers. The site now has leading literary agents and publishers involved. These include The Random House Group - publisher of authors such as John Grisham, Bill Bryson and Terry Pratchett - and Orion - publisher of authors such as Ian Rankin and Maeve Binchy. These publishers review the YouWriteOn Top Ten Chart writers each month. This short story collection contains short stories on YouWriteOn from February 2008 to October 2009 that entered the YouWriteOn Bestseller Chart as rated by fellow members who are writers and readers on YouWriteOn.com. The YouWriteOn Bestseller Chart is where the highest rated stories go each month and YouWriteOn publish these highest rated stories to recognise the writers' achievements in story telling.
