The star pupil Abigail plays classical piano pieces that usually win, and this year's large money award encourages her to pracice especially hard. When the talent show night arrives, tiny Jenny Sue is wearing one of jolly Roxanne's "taken up" dresses, and Flyod Ray has been persuadid to throw tennis balls instead of knives.
Little Jenny Sue's ring violin notes caputure the hearts of the judges. Abigail learns to be gracious loser and gains a new friend.
"Gran's Story II" is an uplifting one that will thrill the heart of a child who feels that success is out of reach.
