Publisher's Synopsis
Joseph Clarence Frazier, my grandfather, was a descendant from an early Portuguese family that immigrated to the Hawaiian Islands around 1884. Born in 1892, Joe found it difficult to keep away from the reaches of law enforcement and the courts of the Hawaiian Territory. The courts finally resolved the problem and ordered Joe removed from Hawaii Territory, never to return. This led to Joe's arrival in California, resulting in terms served in San Quentin, Folsom, and Oregon State Penitentiary that included a life sentence.
