Faye Adcox was fearless and extremely active. She'd rappelled down a seventeen-story building. She ran 5Ks. She taught karate and kickboxing. Then-an accident robbed Faye of her security, stability, and mobility. It almost took her life.
After the icy crash on a wintry road, Faye spent five days in a coma-and when she awoke, the doctors had bad news. Faye had survived the near-fatal accident, but her pelvis was broken in nine different places, her stomach and bladder were punctured, and her spleen was destroyed.
