Thus we see that bywhateve'r titles ministers of the Gospel are kfiown in the Scriptures, and m our most 'fexoellent standards; still the pro minent idea 1s that they are men of God, ' servants of the M oat High, Converted by His grace, oalled by His spirit, and set apart to His work. And the nature of their office, and their place 1n the world's history, not now understood, ahd their hearing on the cycles of a 1apidly (mining eternity in regard to the happiness 01 misery of immortal souls that are passing through time on our globe to tuture immensity, may bek'farther seen by considering brie?yithe great platform; on which they are set forth as a spectacle to men and angels. Their Sharaoter, titles and work have passedrapidly before us. The' text was the 'platform of the great apostle before J ew'and Gentile, in Arabia and 1151 Athens, in, J eru salem and in Corinth.
