Originally put together for John Frates' wife, children and grandchildren, Goose Pit Hash is a collection of stories originating from the goose pit on the North Platte River west of Lewellen, NE. This anthology contains a myriad of stories from John and many friends who he hunted there with over the years.
Every one of the stories in Goose Pit Hash has a thread of truth associated with it in some manner. In a few of the stories there are enough threads that you could probably make a nice winter coat. In others, there are probably not enough threads to make a very small thong.
