Publisher's Synopsis
Goofy decides to take his son, Max, on a fishing trip, in an attempt to bond with him. Max therefore has to break his first date with Roxanne, a schoolmate he has a crush on. Instead of telling her the truth, he lies and pretends that he and his dad are going to perform with the rock star Powerline in Los Angeles. On the trip, Goofy and Max have various misadventures, which include having to hide in their car when Goofy accidentally annoys Bigfoot. When Goofy offers Max the role of navigator as a consolation, Max surreptitiously changes their route... to Los Angeles.
