"Gone Bodfishin'" is a comic novel describing the adventures of Luke and a band of quirky misfits who are in pursuit of their version of the great American Dream. The story is set in central California, in the late 1960's, where they are attempting to resurrect all of the original buildings left standing in Kern County from the 1850's. Their dream is to create a movie set and lease it to Hollywood producers to film westerns. Luke has been promised training to become a western stuntman and has dropped out of college in hopes of breaking into the movies! What lies ahead for Luke? Will he find glory, fortune and fame?
