An actress has to choose between three suitors in this romantic comedy from legendary French film director Jean Renoir. Set in the 18th century, the film stars Anna Magnani as Camilla, the main attraction of a small theatre company in a South American town, who sits at the centre of a love triangle, pursued by the local viceroy (Duncan Lamont), bullfighter Ramon (Riccardo Rioli), and a Spanish nobleman (Ralph Truman).
