Publisher's Synopsis

In 1940 the character of Daredevil was created in Silver Streak comics #6. He was a huge hit and in a few months was given his own series. The first issue was the most popular and titled Daredevil Battles Hitler. Issue #2 changed the name of the books to Daredevil comics and it ran for 16 years. This book reprints those two books. Read and enjoy these books over 70 years since they were first published. The character of Daredevil was created by Jack Binder and revamped by Jack Cole, who later created Plastic Man. However, the stories in this book were mostly written and illustrated by Charles Biro who worked on Daredevil Comics for the entire run of the series.
