Publisher's Synopsis
As a child, Mahogany received verbal and physical abuse. Left without a choice, she deals with it. After her mother is killed, she's left to live with her hateful grandmother. When her grandmother passes away, her aunt and uncle takes her in. She'll lose one of many people she has grown to love dearly, which will leave a huge dent in her heart. In the midst of it all she gets accepted into FAMU. She struggles to be the cream of the crop. Things take a drastic turn for the worst. Will Mahogany have to put her life on hold or will she be able to maintain? When all of the trouble arises the person that she least expects will be there to be her Clark Kent and save the day.
