It is somewhat amazing that, since religion has mostly sought to control people through fear, so few people have seen the glaringly obvious discrepancy between the proclaimed vision of God, and the claim of who God is.
When one claims that God is Love, you cannot also claim that He is going to make you suffer forever if you do not do everything exactly as He insists it be done.
None of us can tell anyone else how to relate to God - it would be very like one sibling in a family demanding that all the other siblings relate to their parents just like they do. Anyone who has a number of children will tell you that they relate differently to each child - and yet do not love one more than any other.
This book is intended merely to give some starting points for you to find your way of relating to God.
I know that you will find such a quest as stimulating as I have and am finding it to be.
