In 2014, the activities of the Autustadt in Wolfsburg revolved around the theme of "Gluck," or happiness. That is also the title of the yearbook with collected impressions of happiness in the Autostadt. Pictures from the Movimentos festival, the ZeitHaus, the lagoon and landscaped park, the summer garden special, the educational offerings for children and adults, the "Gut essen" fine food event, the classical music events in the fall, and the winter fair. The chronicle is accompanied by four cast aluminum plates inscribed with the words Yes!, Happy, Gluck, and If you want to be happy, be. A slipcase lined with fine metallic linen that holds the plates as well as the publication makes for a unique book object, far too handsome to varnish into a bookshelf--mount the aluminum reliefs and contemplate them to find your personal way to happiness and contentment.
