Publisher's Synopsis
This valuable reference book for anyone involved in energy studies has grown out of research on world energy economics begun at the Oak Ridge Institute for Energy Analysis in 1975. The intention has been to create a detailed and flexible model of world energy production and consumption to use when working on scientific questions relating to energy. A detailed analysis of energy supply and demand was made before the model was constructed, and these data are made available so that the results of the modelling can be critically assessed. Readership: graduate students of energy studies, economics of energy
