Publisher's Synopsis
Double-bill of performances from one of Hollywood's leading actors. In 'Ransom' (1956, later re-made with Mel Gibson), Ford plays David Stannard, a businessman whose son is kidnapped and held for ransom. Deciding to take matters into his own hands, Stannard warns that the money won't be paid. Instead it will be used to track down the kidnapper if the boy isn't returned unharmed. In 'The Green Glove' (1952), ex-soldier Michael Blake (Ford) and his new girlfriend (Geraldine Brooks) comb France for a valuable green glove, studded with gems - but they soon find they are not the only ones searching.
