Beth and Liz Markle are twin sixth-graders new to Two Mile Creek, a small town trying to make a come-back, and their parents have opened an antique store in place of the general store that closed down years ago--the trouble is that the hockey puck they sold to a collector in town appears to be haunted, and the girls team up with fellow sixth-graders Casey and Hai Boon. to find out why.
