Dr. Byrd walks you through a pragmatic and practical process of asking questions that demand engagement, promotes thinking, and draws out a considered response. Through that considered response, each individual uncovers the behavior patterns' that are the root cause of their strongholds. Dr. Byrd then shows us how to enlist and engage committed success partners and develop a personalized plan of attack to take back the areas in our lives we have relinquished to the enemy.
Throughout Scripture, God used questions to enhance the change He was making in the lives of individuals. In the Old Testament, He asked Adam, "Why are you hiding?" It was not a physical location question but a question of Adam's thinking. In the New Testament, He asked His followers, "Who do you say I am?" A question aimed at provoking the disciples to consider their level of faith. Jesus refrained from telling His disciples about His death until their faith had grown to the extent that they could express their conviction.
You can't reconcile what you won't recognize. Denying what we are dealing with only deepens the hole into which we are sinking. We secretly deal with pornography, the need to control, deceit, fornication, adultery, lofty views, drug problem, pride, the breakdown of the home, child abuse, anger, violence, and many other issues that cause us to fall away from the truth.
