Excerpt from General Laws of the State of Vermont Relating to Public Instruction

Sec. 919. Appropriation. For the purpose of securing speak ers for the annual meeting of the state teachers' association held in accordance with the aim and purpose of institutes and summer schools, or for publishing addresses and papers under the direction of the superintendent of education, the sum Of not more than two hundred dollars is annually appropriated. The auditor of accounts shall draw an order for such sums and at such times as said superintendent may require to carry out the provisions Of this Section.
