Publisher's Synopsis

Excerpt from Genealogy of the Descendants of Theobald Fouse: Including Many Other Connected Families

The late Andrew Brumbaugh, born July 5, 1830, in Blair County, Pennsylvania, and died September 3, 1901, in Stark County, Ohio, patiently gathered much original material bearing upon the Fouse families. Every scrap of that material has been carefully compared and incorporated into the later data secured. He was Visited, assisted, and encouraged by Mr. John Garner F ouse and Mr. Adam Garner'1 F ouse at a time when his letters bear pathetic testimony to the general indifference and lack of cooperation meeting his efforts to gather family information. That active interest and assistance by these gentlemen, and by Mr. Ephraim Brum baugh, historian of the Descendants of Conrad Brumbaugh, Hartville, Ohio, has been continued to the writer.
