It tries to explore systematic denial of rights to marginalized women-opportunities and resources that are normally and easily available to other members of a group, and which are fundamental to social, political integration and observance of human rights such as housing, employment, healthcare, civic engagement and democratic participation. The authors through their in-depth discussions and writings have tried to sketch Equal World as imagined by John Stuart Mill in the opening lines of The Subjugation of Women.
