Gawain is in trouble.
He's passed all his exams and managed to achieve junior doctor status, but he only has a vague sense of his own identity, Sometimes he's not sure he exists at all. Suddenly there was some point to Gawain's existence. The two boys were inseparable. But then Gawain did something stupid and his relationship with Jacob ended painfully and abruptly. Now, eight years later, the brothers meet in a totally unexpected way. It doesn't take Gawain long to realise Jacob is trouble, and he makes it his mission to extricate him from the mess he's got himself into.
