Publisher's Synopsis

Garlands: Triptych is a collection of three fictional short stories about self-discovery written in gentle prose from author J.W. Lynn. The stories are a combination of fantasy and historically based fiction. The subtitle "triptych" implies that the three shorts work together to create a broader vision of the world, much like a triptych of visual artwork.

Back cover text:

A curious girl finds the answer to a lifelong question. A school-aged boy challenges the circumstances of his era. A mysterious woman brings gifts to an unsuspecting hostess. Three characters whose stories weave a triptych that helps us to realize the world is not always what it seems it must be.

About the Author:

J.W. Lynn holds a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of California, Riverside. She worked as a freelance editor, illustrator, and writer for several years before dedicating her time to publishing her own titles.
Lynn continues to work outside the home, though her primary occupation and first love is as a wife and mother. She lives in Minnesota with her husband and son.
