Publisher's Synopsis

Kenneth Abrams was born at the end of The Great Depression (1939), the middle child of three, in the small town of Kent, Alabama. His father was a farmer and mother was textile worker. He was raised on the farm, in a house his father built, that sat directly across street from the house he was born in. after high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. During this time of service, he met and married his wife, Judith Abrams.

After graduating from college he went on to have a successful career in public accounting and banking. He and his wife raised two daughters moving to several different states as his career progressed. He retired at the age of 56 and promptly moved back to the house and land on which he was raised. His wife passed away in 2020 and he has since been living between his daughter's houses in Alabama and Georgia.

During his retirement years, he spent a lot of time researching the ancestry of both sides of his family. This book is a summation of what research along with a written account of his memory of his life from birth to retirement and everything in between.
