Forced into the service of the British Navy aboard HMS Goliath, Francisco discovers treason amongst rats who control the lower deck and forms a plan to defeat the plot to destroy the British navy.
In Gibraltar, Francisco faces the brilliant French spy, Jacques Tremblant. But things do not go according to plan. As Francisco suffers in captivity, the Goliath sails with Admiral Nelson's Vanguard to confront the French fleet at the Battle of the Nile.
