The story is about happiness, career, love, fame and the ability to deal with hardships that were beyond belief. Torture, imprisonment, rape, hunger, sickness all found in the world during the time of war, play, a major role in this Francesca's story. It is the tragic story of a troubled woman who never really survived the war in the Pacific and led to her ultimate, tragic and untimely death by her own hand.
