Publisher's Synopsis

Double bill of features from film-maker Rainer Werner Fassbinder. 'Fox and His Friends' (1975) follows the story of a young, homosexual man, who falls in love with a wealthy industrialist's son after an unexpected lottery win. His new-found fortune initially leads to happiness, but as his winnings begin to dwindle he realises that the affections of his new partner are solely based on his wealth. In 'Chinese Roulette' (1976) a married couple set off on separate business trips, only to both turn up at the family's country retreat with their secret lovers. Things become even more complicated when their disabled daughter arrives and initiates a guessing game at dinner in which infidelities are revealed and relationships dramatically breakdown.
