Publisher's Synopsis

The Welcome Letter introduces the parent and the child to the contents of the backpack and provides ways to use the books over the summer. Students will go on an exciting adventure in the fiction books. The nonfiction books will have students learning new facts and building background knowledge. With the cloth, drawstring backpack, the summer reading journey can be taken anywhere.
