The City Council has now under consideration the re numbering of houses on the decimal system, 100 to the block of the usual length, a system. Which is in vogue in nearly all the large cities, and one that for simplicity and correctness cannot be excelled.
The number would indicate the exact number of blocks distant from the base or dividing line of the city.
