Publisher's Synopsis

Children are helpless victims of whatever circumstance they are born into, which can all to often be trauma created by the weaknesses and ignorance of birth parents. My story is about releasing ones' self from the burden of family secrets and lies. It's about also informing those who were subjected to childhood trauma that they deserve a healthy life. Writing my story was extremely difficult as it required me to relive some traumatic emotions. However it was also therapeutic in knowing that I no longer have to pretend, or carry the secrets of my parents. My story is also a warning to would be abusive, neglectful, selfish parents that the memories they generate are a legacy for their children. The way parents truly want to be remembered will be determined by how they treat their child(ren). The moments that the parent makes impressionable for the child are what counts. The question is - what moments/actions/emotions does each parent want his/her child to remember? All thoughts, ideas, beliefs and opinions within these pages are solely mine and are based upon my own experiences, observations and knowledge.
